Örgütlerde yıldırma davranışları, personelin tükenmişlik düzeyleri ve kişilik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkiler

Abstract

Örgütlerde yıldırma davranışları, personelin tükenmişlik düzeyleri ve kişilik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkilerin belirlenmesine yönelik bu çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde yıldırma davranışları, yıldırma (mobbing) sözcüğünün kökeni, nedenleri, türleri, etkileri ve önleme yolları bağlamında ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde tükenmişlik olgusu, tükenmenin belirtileri, boyutları, sonuçları ve tükenmişlikle mücadele başlıkları altında incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise, Tokat Acil ve Afetlerde Sağlık Hizmetleri biriminde görevli 71 personel üzerinde uygulanan anket çalışması sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara yer verilmektedir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, yıldırma davranışı ile tükenmişlik arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmaktadır. Benzer şekilde tükenmişlik ile dışadönüklük, geçimlilik ve sorumluluk kişilik özellikleri arasında negatif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca tükenmişlik ile duygusal dengesizlik kişilik özelliği arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmaktadır. Diğer taraftan tükenmişliğin eğitim düzeyine ve yaşa göre farklılaştığı görülmektedir. Eğitim düzeyi ve yaş arttıkça tükenmenin azaldığı görülmüştür. Yıldırma davranışlarına maruz kalma düzeyinin ise demografik özelliklere göre farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür.

This study is aimed at determining the relationships between mobbing behaviours in organization, burnout level and personality characteristics of personnel consist of three parts. In the first part, mobbing behaviours are discussed in the context of the origin of the mobbing- the word itself, the reasons behind mobbing, types of mobbing, the effects and prevention of mobbing. In the second part, the phenomenon of burnout is examined under the title of burnout signs, dimensions, results and the struggling of burnout. In the third part of the study, the findings of a survey, carried out on 71 employees in the department of Tokat Emergency Medical Service, are mentioned. According to the findings of the research, there is a significant and positive relationship between mobbing behaviours and burnout. However, there is a reverse relationship between burnout and extroversion, agreeableness and conscientiousness. Also, there is a significant and positive relationship between burnout and neuroticism. On the other hand, it has been found out that the burnout level differs to the extent of education level and age. It has also seen that the more the level of education and age increases, the more burnout level decreases. It is obvious that there is not a significant differences in the level of exposing to the mobbing according to the demographic characteristics of the workers.
