Koruma ve bakım altında bulunan çocukların spora yönelik tutumlarının özgüven ve sosyal uyum düzeylerine etkisinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, koruma ve bakım altında bulunan çocukların spora yönelik tutumlarının özgüven ve sosyal uyum düzeylerine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Çalışma grubuna, Ankara, Yozgat, Kayseri, Kırşehir ve Çorum illerinde, Çocuk Evleri Sitesi Müdürlüklerinde koruma ve bakım altında bulunan 13-18 yaş arası kız ve erkek toplam 270 çocuk katılmıştır. Katılımcılardan, yaş, cinsiyet, yaşadığı şehir, okul durumu, spor yapma durumu, koruma ve bakım altında bulundukları süre ve madde bağımlılığı bilgilerini elde etmek amacıyla sosyo-demografik bilgi formunu, spora yönelik tutum ölçeğini, özgüven ölçeğini ve sosyal uyum ölçeğini uygulamaları istenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, SPSS 24.0 paket programına işlenerek analiz işlemleri bu program aracılığı ile işlenmiştir. Normallik durumunun belirlenmesi için normal dağılım eğrilerine, çarpıklık-basıklık katsayılarına ve Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi sonuçlarına bakılmıştır. İlişkisel analizlerin yapılması için; Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon katsayısı, bağımsız gruplar t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), Tukey HSD testi uygulanmıştır. Yapılan çalışmada, Koruma ve bakım altında bulunan çocukların spora yönelik tutumları ile özgüven düzeyleri arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönde bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir. Koruma ve bakım altında bulunan çocukların spora yönelik tutumları ile sosyal uyum düzeyleri arasında herhangi bir ilişki olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır Koruma ve bakım altında bulunan çocukların spora yönelik tutumlarının cinsiyet değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Spora yönelik tutumun spor yapma değişkenine göre anlamlı ve pozitif yönde bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çocukların koruma ve bakım altında bulundukları sürenin, spora yönelik tutumları üzerinde bir etkisinin olmadığı görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak, koruma ve bakım altında bulunan çocukların, spora yönelik tutumlarının, özgüven, spor yapma durumu, cinsiyet değişkenlerini olumlu yönde etkilediği sonucuna varılmıştır.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the attitudes of children who are under protection and care towards sports on their self-confidence and socialization levels. A total of 270 children between the ages of 13-18, who are under protection and care in the Children's House Site Directorates located in Ankara, Yozgat, Kayseri, Kırşehir and Çorum cities were included in the study. The participants were asked to apply the socio-demographic data form, the sports attitudes scale, the scale of self-confidence, and the social cohesion scale in order to obtain information on age, gender, city, school status, sports situation, duration of protection and care, and substance dependence. The data obtained were processed in SPSS 24.0 package program and analyzed through this program. In order to determine the normality state, normal distribution curves and skewness-kurtosis coefficients were examined. As for relational analysis; Pearson Product Moment Correlation coefficient, independent groups t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey HSD test were applied. In the study, it was determined that there was a significant and positive relationship between the attitudes of children who are under protection and care and their self-confidence level. It was concluded that there was no relationship between the attitudes of the children who are under protection and care towards sports and their social adaptation levels. It was also concluded that the attitudes of the children who are under protection and care towards sports show a significant difference according to the gender variable. It was found out that there was a significant and positive relationship between sports attitudes and sports variable. It was seen that the duration of protection and care of children had no effect on their attitudes towards sports. As a result, it was concluded that the attitudes of the children who are under protection and care towards sports had a positive effect on self-confidence, sporting situation and gender.
