Refik Halit Karay'ın İstanbul'un Bir Yüzü adlı romanında söz dizimi

Abstract

Bu çalışma Refik Halit Karay`ın ?İstanbul?un Bir Yüzü? adlı romanının söz dizimi açısından incelenmesidir. Refik Halit Karay, Türk edebiyatının önemli şahsiyetlerinden biri; Ziya Gökalp?in ifadesiyle döneminin en iyi yazan muharriridir. Yazarın çok zengin dil ve üsluba sahip olması bu eserin söz dizimi açısından incelenmesi gerekliliğini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu çalışmayla ulaşılmak istenen hedef Türkçenin ifade gücünü, yazarın Türkçeyi kullanma şeklini, duygu ve düşüncelerini cümlelere yansıtma biçimini, Türkçenin zenginliğini ve güzelliğini ortaya çıkarabilmektir. Bu amaçla romandan dokuz yüz üç cümle seçildi. Bu cümleler Modern dilbilim anlayışıyla incelenmiştir.?Giriş? bölümünde Refik Halit Karay ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiş, ?Kavramların İşaretlenmesi? bölümünde bağımsız kavramlarla ilgili özellikler ele alınmış, ?Taban Hâlindeki Ögeler? bölümünde taban hâlindeki isim ve fiillerden söz edilmiş, ?Kavram İlişkileri? bölümünde kavramlar arasında ilişki kuran isim ve fiil çekimleri ele alınmış, ?Cümlenin Ögeleri? bölümünde metinde kullanılan cümlelerin isim ve fiilleri tamamlama biçimleri ele alınmış, ?Cümle Tamlayıcıları? bölümünde edatlar, hitaplar ve ara sözler ele alınıp örnekler verilmiş, ?Yapısına Göre Cümleler? bölümünde de cümle yapıları ve bu yapılara uyan örnekler verilmeye çalışılmış, ?Cümle ve Cümle Kalıplarının Kullanım Oranları? bölümünde cümle ve cümle kalıplarıyla ilgili istatistikî bilgiler verilmiş, ?Sonuç? bölümünde ise incelemenin genelinden çıkarılan sonuçlara yer verilmiştir, son olarak çalışmada yararlanılan kaynaklara kaynakça bölümünde yer verilmiştir.

This study is the investigation of Refik Halit Karay`s novel titled ?İstanbul?un Bir Yüzü (An Aspect of Istanbul)? in terms of syntax. Refik Halit Karay is one of the most important personalities of the Turkish literature and the best author of his time, as is indicated by Ziya Gökalp. The very rich language and style of the author has revealed the necessity for investigating this work in terms of syntax. The purpose of this study is to reveal the expression power of the Turkish language, author?s way of using the Turkish language, his manner of reflecting the feelings and thoughts on sentences, as well as the richness and beauty of Turkish. For this purpose, nine hundred and three sentences were selected from the novel. These sentences were analyzed with the sense of Modern linguistics. The section of ?Introduction? gave some information about Refik Halit Karay, the section of ?Marking the Concepts? approached features of independent concepts, the section of ?Base Elements? mentioned about base nouns and verbs, the section of ?Concept Relations? examined nouns and conjugations that establish a relation between concepts, the section of ?Sentence Elements? approached the styles of sentences being used in the text in terms of completing nouns and verbs, the section of ?Sentence Auxiliaries? investigated postpositions, addressings and digressions with examples, the section of ?Sentences According to their Structures? explained the sentence structures with examples, the section of ?Usage Levels of Sentences and Sentence Patterns? gave some statistical information about sentences and sentence patterns and the section of ?Conclusion? involved conclusions drawn from the general review. Finally, references used in the study were included in the section of references.
