Türk basınında 1957 seçimleri ve partilerin propagandaları

Abstract

1923 yılında Türkiye Cumhuriyetinin kuruluşu ile birlikte tek parti yönetimi başlamıştır. Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi'nin iktidarda olduğu tek parti yıllarındaki uygulamalar ve oluşan bazı tepkiler, Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi içindeki kadrolarca oluşturulan Demokrat Parti iktidarına zemin hazırlamıştır. 1946 yılında Demokrat Parti'nin kurulması ve akabinde iktidara gelmesi, Türk Demokrasi Tarihinin kritik bir noktasını teşkil eder. Yine Türk Demokrasi tarihinde ilk kez bir muhalefet partisi, herhangi bir otorite ya da gücü arkasına almaksızın halkın iradesiyle iktidara gelebilmeyi başarabilmiştir. Demokrat Parti'nin 1950'lerde muhalefetle arasındaki diyalog ve ilişkiler bugünkü çağdaş siyaset anlayışının Türkiye'de iktidar-muhalefet ilişkilerinin belirlenmesinde temel olmuştur. Bu tezde tek dereceli olarak ve birden çok partinin katılımı ile yapılması bakımından önem arz eden 1946 seçimleri ve 1946–1957 ve 1957–1960 döneminde yaşanan gelişmeler özetlenmiş; 1957 seçimleri, sırasıyla seçim öncesi genel siyasal durum, kampanya dönemlerinde yapılan propaganda çalışmaları ve seçim sonuçları ile tüm bu süreçte meydana gelen gelişmeler incelenerek ele alınmıştır. Tezin hazırlanmasında döneme ilişkin kaynaklardan faydalanıldı. Bu kaynaklarda olaylara ilişkin yapılan farklı yorumlar, objektif olarak teze yansıtılmaya çalışıldı. Kullanılan kaynakların daha çok birinci el olmasına özen gösterildi. O dönemin gazete ve dergilerinin incelenmesinin yanı sıra, dönemin Meclis Grubu Toplantı Müzakere Zabıtları ve Milli Kütüphane Arşiv belgeleri, Bozok Üniversitesi Kütüphanesi tarandı, Demokrat Parti Tüzük ve Programı incelendi. Seçim süreçlerinden hareketle yola çıkılarak hazırlanan bu çalışmada, Türkiye'nin çok partili yaşama geçtiği ve demokrasiyi öğrenmeye çalıştığı bu dönemde, Demokrat Parti'nin ilk sistemli muhalefet oluşturma çabaları, 1946 yılında kurulmasıyla başlayan 1950, 1954, 1957 seçimleri ile devam eden ve 1960 darbesine kadar uzanan süreç ele alındı.

With the foundation of the Republic of Turkey in 1923, it began the one-party management. Republican People's Party was the only party in power applications and the resulting response in some years; the Republican People's Party cadres in the Democratic Party paved the power generated. The opposition Democratic Party of the 1950s, relations between dialogue and understanding today's contemporary politics has been fundamental in determining the government-opposition relations in Turkey. In this thesis, single stage and multiple terms as done by the party's participation in the 1946 elections, which are important and summarized developments during the 1946-1957 and 1957-1960; 1957 elections, general political situation before the elections, respectively, in the whole campaign process and the election results with the propaganda work is done in the period examined and discussed developments occurred. It was utilized in the preparation of the sources for the thesis. These different comments on the facts of resources, it tried to objectively reflected in the thesis. He examined the newspapers and magazines of the period, as well as the meeting of the Parliamentary Group of National Library and Archive documents period Negotiation Memorandum, Bozok University Library has been scanned, the Democratic Party Statutes and viewed the program.
